Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized Administrator for our Home Health division. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of home health to include the effective management of clinical systems, human resources, financial and environmental management. Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, providers and clinics, always exhibiting the ability to work with others to find solutions to difficult human, technical or administrative problems. Duties Manage the overall operations of the Home Health department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and cost control measures to maintain financial health. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions to cultivate a motivated team. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, Joint Commission accreditation requirements, and state-specific health policies. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient management software to maintain accurate medical records and facilitate seamless patient care coordination. Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Collaborate with clinical staff to support medical management activities such as utilization review and care planning while maintaining high standards of customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare administration or medical office management within a home health or similar setting. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles including budgeting, financial analysis, and billing procedures. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential. In-depth understanding of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations and Joint Commission accreditation processes. Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with the ability to foster teamwork and resolve conflicts effectively.
