Job Description
Job Overview River Ranch Recovery is a Joint Commission accredited facility and also licensed with the state of Tennessee's Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. Each of our certifications ensures that we provide the highest quality of care to all of our clients. We are dedicated to providing a full continuum of addiction recovery services. Our treatment services are designed to motivate clients to develop strategies through education, self-awareness, therapy and counseling. River Ranch Recovery is searching for a dynamic Clinical Supervisor for our intensive outpatient facility to join our team. Qualified individuals should have previous management experience in healthcare operations with the strong ability to develop and lead clinical staff. In addition to managing the day to day operations of the program, the Supervisor must also maintain a learning environment focused on recruiting, developing, and retaining a quality team. This position requires someone who is highly organized to ensure daily operational tasks are completed and compliance is maintained while simultaneously fostering a learning environment for their team that leads to long-term employee retention. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and supervision to licensed clinicians, case managers, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Manage intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient care documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Coordinate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and individual therapy sessions each week. Lead crisis management efforts and crisis intervention strategies to ensure safety and stability for clients experiencing mental health or co-occurring substance use disorders. Facilitate clinical team meetings, provide ongoing training in areas such as medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and documentation standards. Collaborate with community partners to enhance home & community care initiatives and support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Ensure accurate medical documentation, medical records management, and data collection for research or quality improvement projects. Experience Proven management experience within behavioral health or mental health settings with supervisory responsibilities over clinical teams. Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling techniques including psychotherapy, social work practices, addiction counseling, and trauma-informed care such as PTSD care. Strong background in crisis intervention and crisis management protocols for individuals with mental health conditions or substance use disorders. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems including medical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA regulations. Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in hospital or outpatient settings. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation procedures using
