Regents Medical Center is looking for a dependable Patient Care Coordinator to attend to patients on the phone and in person, and to coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care. We are currently hiring for a Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm shift with rotating Saturday, 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities:

Answers incoming calls in a prompt and professional manner. Schedules, coordinates, and reschedules patient appointments as needed. Obtains and enters patient demographic and insurance information as required. Takes messages from patients, physicians, hospitals, for emergencies and non-emergencies per established protocols. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Assists in keeping patient appointments on schedule by checking patients in upon their arrival in a timely manner. Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
