Helping patients since 2009, Classic Home Care is committed to serving our communities with excellence in clinical services through high quality patient centered care. We are rapidly growing and looking for a Medical Referral Coordinator to join our team. If you are interested in a working for a great company, we look forward to hearing from you! Our Medical Referral Coordinator works Monday - Friday in our Arlington office in a fast-paced environment processing all new referrals from our medical partners. This requires someone with top-notch customer service skills who can multi-task and work with multiple computer software programs. This is a full-time office based position in Arlington, Texas.
Duties will include the following:
Receiving and documenting new referrals in a timely manner from referral services Verifying patient medical eligibility and pre-authorizations Entering all information completely and accurately into our patient management software system. Functioning as facilitator between field clinicians and management team Maintaining referral log, with excellent communication with the marketing team Utilizing multiple software products such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Axxess Participating in in-service and Agency QAPI program Promoting the Agency philosophy and administrative procedures to ensure quality care Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
One year of experience working with the intake and scheduling functions within a licensed home health company is preferred Demonstrated proficiency in advanced office computer applications Excellent customer service skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills High School Diploma or Equivalent Reliable transportation with current auto liability insurance and valid drivers license Must be able to pass criminal and required background testing

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
