Job Description

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Medical Procedure Coordinator to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As a leader in recruiting and HR services, we provide excellent career opportunities for candidates with the right skills and experience. As our Medical Procedure Coordinator, you will be working daily to ensure all patient procedures are properly scheduled, authorized, and working with the team to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and care are achieved. Prior experience with radiology authorizations is preferred, but prior insurance verification experience is required. This is a Monday - Friday day position. Pay will be $16.00+ DOE. Responsibilities Verify and update information to ensure accurate patient records. Verify patient appointments. Verify all patient insurance and payment services. Complete radiology authorizations. Review clinical notes for accuracy for payment submissions. Notify management of any records that cannot be processed due to time or missing information. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years insurance verification experience is required. Prior experience with radiology authorizations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Proficiency in computer skills and data entry. Excellent problem solving skills. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Ability to obtain immunization records.
