Job Description
Patient Coordinator - Multi-Location Specialty Practice We are currently seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our growing team, with an opening at our Southlake locations. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, enjoys working in a team environment, is detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced medical office. This is a busy specialty practice with multiple physicians, multiple audiologists, and 40+ employees across several locations. Position Details Full-time, Monday-Friday Office hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications Minimum 2 years of front office experience in a busy medical practice Medical billing and insurance knowledge preferred Medical Assistants with administrative/front office experience are welcome to apply Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scheduling patient appointments, including inbound and outbound referral calls Screening calls, taking messages, and assisting callers in accordance with established office policies and procedures Greeting patients and managing check-in and check-out processes Verifying insurance benefits and entering accurate patient demographic information Handling the financial aspects of patient visits and procedures, including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and balances Posting payments, charges as necessary, and balancing daily batches
