This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical workflows, managing medical administrative support, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to practice management, leveraging their extensive experience in medical office operations, fiscal management, and team supervision to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency. Join us to drive excellence in clinical operations while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, including clinical workflows, staff scheduling, and resource allocation. Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing processes, and fiscal management to ensure profitability and sustainability. Supervise medical administrative support staff, including training on EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, and others. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and managed care protocols. Coordinate with nursing staff and clinicians to optimize patient flow in acute care, hospital settings, or dental clinics as applicable. Implement policies for medical records management, medical terminology accuracy, and documentation standards across EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems. Lead human resources functions such as hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development within a healthcare management framework. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare operations with a strong background in clinic or dental office environments. Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership within medical or dental practices. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems including Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, and others used in various healthcare settings. Demonstrated fiscal management skills involving budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and compliance standards such as JCAHO accreditation. Experience working in acute care hospitals or managed care environments is highly desirable. Background in nursing or medical administrative support is advantageous for understanding clinical workflows and patient needs.
