Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Under general direction, provide fiscal and programmatic oversight of grant activities, programs, and funds, coordinate grant stakeholders, and complete required reports. Regularly monitor program accountability, and evaluate program outcomes. Work to foster cooperative working relationships among grant stakeholders and act as liaison with staff, faculty, and students. Be the contact for regulatory agencies and perform related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Master's degree (Administration, Counseling, Social Work, or related field)
Valid Texas driver's license
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Ability to follow and interpret grant guidance and program requirements Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret multiple forms of data
Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships with district personnel and community agencies
Ability to produce professional presentations for students, and staff, and develop a marketing program
Ability to successfully manage a budget
EXPERIENCE
Three years related experience Experience working with grant programs preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Ensure compliance with all grant policies and regulations. This includes meeting all listed deadlines, maintaining financial and programmatic records with supporting documentation, submitting payment requests based on approved budget costs and allowable activities, and submitting required reports.
Gather and assess data relative to grant outcomes: behavior trends, discipline policies, and threat assessment data.
Collaborate with campus staff, parents, and students through advisory committee activities.
Attend meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions, and review publications to stay current on principles, practices, and new developments in the field of grants administration and assigned programs.
Oversee activities of future related grants, if awarded.
Research and apply for future grants for student and staff mental health and wellness for the sustainability of programs.
EQUIPMENT USED
Must know how to properly operate all multimedia equipment including current technology and software programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and evaluate grant professional and clerical staff.
