Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations. Verify patient insurance coverage, explain health insurance policies, and assist with billing inquiries to ensure smooth financial interactions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, including medical terminology and health regulation policies compliance. Communicate clearly with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to facilitate treatment plans and administrative processes. Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, managing medical administrative tasks, and ensuring adherence to health regulation policies. Educate patients on treatment procedures, medication instructions, and health maintenance practices in a friendly and professional manner. Qualifications Proven experience working in a medical office environment or dental office setting with familiarity in healthcare workflows. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and health insurance processes. Proficiency in Medical Office Support tasks such as appointment scheduling, billing, and patient record management. Experience using EMR/EHR systems for electronic health records management is highly preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Office experience demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning new skills is essential.
