Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Administrator to manage both front and back-office operations. This role includes patient scheduling, coordination with referring offices, handling authorizations, and supporting billing procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer-savvy, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage patient appointments and scheduling Communicate with referring physician offices and follow up on orders Handle insurance verification and pre-authorizations Manage incoming calls, faxes, and patient communications Enter and maintain accurate patient records in the system Oversee patient intake and ensure all documentation is complete Assist with billing processes and maintain accurate records Support daily office operations and workflow efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required Experience with pre-authorization and insurance verification strongly preferred Previous experience in an MRI or imaging center is a plus Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EMR systems) Fast and accurate typing skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and customer service skills Bilingual in Spanish and English is required Must reside in League City, TX or within a reasonable commuting distance
