Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and the dental practice, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the initial dental appointment scheduling, through treatment planning and financial arrangements. Duties Greet patients warmly and guide them through their treatment journey with enthusiasm and professionalism Coordinate appointment scheduling using patient management software Open Dental Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options clearly to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and communicate coverage details accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality Collect payments, handle billing , and assist with financial arrangements in compliance with health regulation policies Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and insurance information in accordance with dental administrative support standards Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all patient records are up-to-date and compliant with health regulations Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office setting, with familiarity in dental office operations preferred Strong proficiency in OpenDental, Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and dental terminology Experience with patient management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and client interactions Understanding of health insurance processes, claims submission, and benefits verification Ability to type accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Prior experience in dental office administration Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing outstanding dental care!
