Job Description

Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator Position Summary :
Assists the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and the Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) leadership with medical staff credentialing functions, and related activities of the medical staff established parameters. Prepares and maintains files and reports for all individual providers including maintenance of credentialing software, provider rosters and spreadsheets for Medical Staff leadership to review for presentation to the department chairman and credentials committee as well as attending medical staff meetings.
Education:
1. High School diploma required 2. Two (2) years of college level courses are preferred
Training and Experience:
1. Significant background in PC software. 2. Experience in a medical related field preferred.
Job Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of medical terminology. 2. Proficiency in the use of computer applications is essential. i.e. Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Excell
