Job Description

Patient Care Coordinator - South Lake Location Life Sciences Imaging is an outpatient diagnostic imaging center offering MRI, X-Ray, CT, and other neurodiagnostic testing services. We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our South Lake location. We are a close-knit team dedicated to delivering an exceptional patient experience, and we're looking for someone who shares that commitment. Every role at our center has a direct impact on patient care — and yours will be the first impression. As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will manage the front desk in a fast-paced imaging environment, serving as the primary point of contact for patients from check-in through checkout.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, answer phones, and manage front desk operations Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances Assist patients with intake forms and ensure accuracy of demographic and insurance information Maintain and update patient records in EHR software (experience with AdvancedMD is a plus) Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Handle medical records requests and documentation as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or imaging center strongly preferred Familiarity with insurance verification, pre-authorization, and medical billing processes Proficiency with EHR/practice management software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (8-hour day with a 30-minute lunch)
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
