Job Description

Wylie ER & Hospital | Business Development Manager The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for increasing patient visit volumes specifically at Wylie Emergency Room. The goal is to drive outpatient and inpatient volumes while promoting our brand and culture of concierge medicine. This will be accomplished by educating and informing key stakeholders. The Business Development Manager works closely with Medical Staff, Directors/Managers/Executives, and office staff to effectively expand utilization of services and affiliated physicians. Must be able to travel regularly and to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Drive patient visit growth across all emergency care locations by developing and executing strategic business development initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, employers, community organizations, and referral sources to increase service utilization. Identify, develop, and manage a pipeline of prospective business opportunities while tracking all outreach and engagement activities. Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, print, and community channels to support growth objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and campaign performance data to identify opportunities and improve business development results. Represent the organization at community events, sponsorships, networking engagements, and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness and referral relationships. Collaborate with medical staff, facility leadership, and corporate teams to expand utilization of services and achieve growth targets. Prepare and deliver accurate reports to leadership on business development activities, community engagement efforts, and progress toward strategic goals.
Requirements:
High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 years of business development experience in healthcare required.
