Schedule:
Alternating Monday-Thursday, Tuesday-Friday schedule. 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. About the Practice Heights Family and Cosmetic Dental is a small, private, modern general dentistry practice located in Salt Lake City, UT. With 5 operatories and a close‑knit team of 6, we focus on providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a professional yet fun environment. Our office runs at a fast‑paced but organized rhythm, and we pride ourselves on teamwork, clear communication, and an excellent patient experience. About the Role We are looking for a positive worker to join our team and support our doctors in providing attentive, comfortable care to patients. This role involves a blend of clinical support, patient interaction, and daily organization to help keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Include Creating an exceptional patient experience Answering phones and communicating professionally and compassionately with patients Scheduling appointments efficiently and maintaining productive schedules Insurance verification and understanding dental benefits Assisting patients with financial questions and treatment coordination Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Supporting communication between patients, providers, and team members Helping the office flow smoothly and positively throughout the day Qualifications Dental office experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with Open Dental software preferred Understanding of dental insurance and benefit verification Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Proficient in, or willing to learn Open Dental software Knowledge of dental terminology Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset Reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment Culture & Benefits We offer a professional, supportive, and fun workplace in a small private‑practice setting.
