About Stone Ridge Endodontics Stone Ridge Endodontics is a growing specialty dental practice committed to providing exceptional endodontic care in a professional, compassionate, and welcoming environment. We understand that many patients arrive feeling anxious or in pain, so every member of our team plays an important role in creating a calm, efficient, and positive patient experience. We are seeking an experienced, personable, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate confidently with patients, referring dental offices, insurance companies, and clinical team members. Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for our patients and referring offices. This individual will be responsible for welcoming patients, answering and managing phone calls, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance benefits, collecting payments, and helping the office schedule run smoothly. Because we are a specialty practice that frequently treats patients requiring urgent care, the position requires excellent judgment, attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing the patient experience. Primary Responsibilities Welcome patients warmly and assist them throughout their visit. Answer incoming phone calls professionally and respond to patient questions. Communicate with referring dental offices regarding patient referrals, records, radiographs, treatment needs, and appointment availability. Schedule new-patient evaluations, emergency appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits. Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the practice-management system. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits before scheduled appointments. Clearly communicate estimated treatment costs, insurance benefits, and patient financial responsibility. Collect copayments, deductibles, and other balances due at the time of service. Follow up on outstanding claims, requests for additional information, and unpaid patient balances. Help keep the reception area organized, professional, and welcoming. Support other administrative and front-office responsibilities as needed.
