Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, where your organizational skills and compassionate communication will help patients navigate their dental care journey with confidence. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, coordinating treatment plans, managing appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to post-treatment follow-up. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive patient experience and the smooth operation of our dental practice. Responsibilities Act as the main liaison between patients and the dental team, providing clear explanations of treatment options and financial policies Schedule patient appointments efficiently, balancing provider availability and patient needs Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and communicate financial arrangements effectively Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage patient documentation with confidentiality and compliance in mind Support patients through the administrative aspects of their care, including pre-treatment instructions and post-procedure follow-up Assist in patient management using specialized software such as EMR/EHR systems and patient management platforms Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about treatments, insurance, and appointment availability while maintaining excellent customer service standards Requirements Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting, with strong knowledge of health regulation policies and medical administrative procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance processes, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client interactions Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy laws Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; proficient typing skills for accurate data entry Knowledge of health insurance policies and billing procedures is preferred but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for helping others meets your organizational expertise. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
