We are looking for a polished, professional, articulate and energetic individual to join our team. As the Front Desk / Patient Coordinator, you will be the first person to see and greet the patient with a smile. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative and preferably clinical coordination tasks as well. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth dental practice operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered environment where efficiency and compassion meet. Required Experience Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience while verifying patient identities and appointment details. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using EagleSoft (or other PMS software) as the primary software, and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Schedule appointments, coordinate treatment plans, and follow up on patient care needs through phone communication and electronic messaging. Maintain organized filing of medical records, manage electronic health records (EHR) management, and support dental practice administrative functions such as data entry and document processing. Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, providing clear communication and timely responses to patient inquiries. Support dental practice staff by preparing treatment plans, reviewing documentation, and assisting with dental administrative support tasks such as updating patient information. Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality. Support office efficiency and schedule flow Coordinate patient follow-up and recall Willing to learn dental terminology and other aspects of working in a dental office if no experience Preferred Experience Verify insurance coverage and benefits, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification Review medical records for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Proven experience in a dental practice environment Strong knowledge of insurance processes including verification, billing, and claims submission - familiarity with EagleSoft or similar dental software is required (Dentrix, Open Dental, etc.) Competency in dental terminology Present treatment plans and discuss financial options Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly Help support cosmetic and comprehensive treatment acceptance Help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish Work collaboratively with doctors and team members
