The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, people-focused Dental Clinical Supervisor to lead clinical support operations at one pediatric dental location. This working leadership role develops the clinical team, strengthens daily accountability, standardizes workflows, and ensures safe, compliant, efficient, family-centered care. The ideal candidate combines strong pediatric dental assisting knowledge with sound judgment, organized follow-through, and a genuine commitment to helping people grow. What You Will Lead

• Supervise and develop Lead Dental Assistants, Dental Assistants, and sterilization team members.
• Coordinate staffing, clinical assignments, patient flow, room readiness, and provider support for the practice location.
• Lead onboarding, skills validation, coaching, cross-training, and ongoing competency development.
• Maintain readiness for infection prevention, sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA, radiation safety, emergency procedures, and required clinical documentation.
• Standardize clinical workflows and improve consistency, efficiency, and communication throughout clinical operations.
• Oversee clinical inventory, supply controls, equipment readiness, maintenance, and vendor follow-up.
• Coordinate clinical readiness for general anesthesia, complex treatment, specialty services, and special-needs patient care.
• Use observations, audits, team feedback, and performance measures to identify problems and sustain improvements.
• Partner closely with dentists, practice leadership, and front-office leaders to resolve operational barriers and elevate the patient experience. What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current dental assisting credentials, radiography authorization, CPR/BLS, and other certifications required for assigned duties.
• Five or more years of dental assisting experience, including strong pediatric dentistry experience.
• Two or more years of clinical leadership, team-lead, training, or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA, radiation safety, clinical documentation, and dental emergency readiness.
• Strong coaching, communication, organization, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a consistent and flexible schedule based on patient-care and operational needs.

Preferred Experience Pediatric or specialty dental leadership; general anesthesia or specialty-case coordination; competency-based training; clinical audits; inventory systems; equipment oversight; and Open Dental.
