Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, personable, and dependable Physical Therapy Aide and Intake Coordinator to join our team. The PT Aide will work closely with physical therapists and patients to support treatment sessions, maintain an organized clinic environment, and provide an exceptional patient experience. The individual will also have administrative duties at the front desk. This is an afternoon shift. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in rehabilitation, exercise, movement, and wellness, and pelvic health. A bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, health science, or a related field is preferred, as is experience with Pilates or movement-based exercise. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient exercise-based treatments and therapeutic exercises Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment Assist with patient flow and maintain an organized, welcoming clinic environment Monitor and communicate patient responses during exercises and treatments Prepare equipment and treatment areas for individual sessions Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for patients Support the clinical team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as needed Follow all clinic policies, safety procedures, and instructions from licensed clinicians Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy and exercise areas Answer phones and manage therapists' schedules Closing duties
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Science, or a related field Experience with Pilates , movement instruction, or exercise-based training Previous experience in a physical therapy, rehabilitation, fitness, or wellness setting
Required:
Strong interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, fitness, or movement Caring and compassion for people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working with pelvic health clients of all ages and genders with sensitive diagnoses Ability to follow directions and learn new clinical techniques and protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping people move better and feel better.
