We are searching for the right individual to lead our professional/clinical services division. As the Director of Clinical Services (ie Practice Administrator), you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinical team of 8-10 individuals. You will work with the lead Optician and the principals to drive the vision and future of the entire organization. Your ideas and your ability to execute them are the key to our success. This position is full-time, salaried with PTO, retirement benefits, etc. Result Statement You will be accountable for improving the lives of our customers by producing a consistent, high-quality customer experience while maximizing clinical revenue and ensuring an optimal level of care. Responsibilities Work to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Maintain a consistent clinical experience by coaching staff and holding them accountable for consistently following best practices, including appearance, verbiage, and ensuring clinical spaces are up to standards Staff scheduling to maximize clinical efficiencies, including on-call Identify, report, and address maintenance and safety issues and ensure compliance with safety processes Hire, onboard, praise, discipline, offboard, train staff, and other aspects of "HR," such as payroll (ongoing) Maximize efficiencies, customer flow, and employee/space utilization throughout the office and during staff training sessions Ensure adequate clinical supplies, demo lenses, equipment, and maintain vendor relationships Occasionally fill-in for absent staff Eyewash, Fire extinguisher, SDS, and other safety inspections Share knowledge by updating and communicating process documentation (EyeNexus) and by mentoring teammates Keep current with trends, brands, eyewear, and lens technology and be able to communicate them with customers Work with customers to resolve concerns and complaints and quickly process approved refunds and voids Opening and Closing managerial duties, including spot checks and VIP meeting oversight Long-Term Assignments Ensure a full clinic schedule and work to minimize no-shows Develop and implement Clinical Staff Training Develop and implement a Clinical Services budget Develop, implement, coach, and oversee "MiniGames" for Clinical Services Team Work with owner and Director of Retail Services to develop KPI's Process development, documentation, and simplification (EyeNexus, etc.) Plan and implement clinical events (LASIK Night, seminars, etc) Utilize outside resources for personal and staff development Grow position through interaction with owners and consultants You may apply directly by replying with your CV or Resume .
