Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Act as a liaison between patients and dental providers, explaining treatment plans, financial options, and insurance coverage clearly and confidently. Verify patient insurance benefits, process claims, and assist with billing inquiries to ensure accurate financial transactions. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with health regulation policies and privacy laws. Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized records in EMR/EHR systems. Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to answer questions, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with health insurance documentation, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the overall administrative workflow of the dental practice. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or dental office support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and medical recordkeeping. Familiarity with patient management software and EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients. Experience handling health insurance processes including benefits verification and claims submission. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive information accurately. Effective phone communication skills coupled with strong typing abilities for efficient data entry.
