Patient Care Coordinator:

In this role, you'll be instrumental in facilitating seamless patient visits and delivering unparalleled customer service. Key duties involve expediting check-ins and check-outs, managing copays and balances, and leveraging AI tools to optimize patient satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Extend a warm and hospitable welcome to arriving patients, fostering a comfortable environment. Streamline patient check-ins with precision, verifying data accuracy and securing required documentation promptly. Collect copays and outstanding balances in accordance with established payment protocols, ensuring adherence to policy. Employ AI technology to optimize patient interactions, heightening overall satisfaction and efficiency. Coordinate seamlessly with medical personnel to uphold smooth patient flow, minimizing wait times. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up arrangements meticulously, maintaining an orderly calendar. Offer guidance to patients completing necessary paperwork, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy. Field incoming calls, promptly addressing inquiries or routing them to appropriate staff members. Uphold strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while maintaining patient records. Liaise with billing specialists to resolve any payment or insurance-related concerns. Contribute to a pristine reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Stay abreast of podiatry advancements and industry trends, providing informed assistance to patients and visitors. Requirements for the

Patient Care Coordinator:

Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in healthcare administration or a related field is advantageous. Demonstrated track record in a similar capacity, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment. Outstanding interpersonal and communication proficiencies, adept at fostering connections with patients through empathy. Meticulous attention to detail paired with exceptional organizational abilities. Proficiency in utilizing technology, including AI systems and electronic medical records (EMR). Capable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing duties in a fast-paced setting. Maintains a consistently positive and professional demeanor, even when faced with challenges. Familiarity with insurance policies and procedures is considered a valuable asset.
