performs selected tasks and activities to obtain and report information to assist the Provider in the assessment, planning and evaluation of patient needs. Participate in the development of the patients care plan. Participate in delegating and giving direct care based on priority of needs and established goals. Providing an environment conductive to safety and health. Documents nursing interventions and responses to care. Communicating nursing interventions and responses to care to appropriate members of the healthcare team. Under the direction of the Provider, perform patient related activities, medication administration, diagnostic testing, therapeutic treatments, which contribute to safe and efficient delivery of patient care. Under the direction of the Provider, medication renewal, prior authorizations. Triage phone calls, follow-up with post-op calls. Supports and participates in quality initiatives. Maintains accountability for professional competency. Demonstrates knowledge and critical thinking to promote optimal patient care. Performs related duties as assigned.
