Description:

The Patient Care Services Coordinator is a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the healthcare team. The Patient Care Services Coordinator will: Oversee patient support activities such as scheduling appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, communicating with health insurance companies and ensuring that patient needs are met effectively and efficiently. Have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing patient experience. Work in a variety of hospital locations including but not limited to the infusion clinic, the inpatient care unit, care management, and the emergency department.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree ( preferred ) Hospital and/or nursing home affiliation ( preferred ) Insurance and prior authorization knowledge ( preferred ) High level of comfort with technology including electronic medical records system(s) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) Effective written and verbal communication skills High level of emotional intelligence Comfort level with autonomy

Salary Range:

The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
