This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for daily staffing, patient flow, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care. This role works closely with the physician director and partners to support administrative, financial, and developmental goals while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day management of the ASC and oversee surgical coordination to support safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, protocols, and quality assurance systems for patient flow, satisfaction, follow-through, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the practice's administrative and financial objectives through staff leadership, process improvement, budgeting awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.
Regulatory Compliance and Service Standards:
Ensures appropriate regulatory compliance and quality standards in all aspects of the ASC services provided to patients and maintains effective methods for assessing such performance.
  • Experience in perioperative or surgical services - weekly scrub-in needed. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of hospital or medical practice management experience, preferably in eye care, with strong knowledge of billing, budgeting, accounts payable, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership, strong interpersonal communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and trustworthiness.
