Responsible for personnel, resources, budgetary concerns, and patient care responsibilities of the nursing team. Responsible for the recruitment and retention of nursing staff in addition to over-seeing day-to-day activities. Provides consistent leadership to ensure the nursing team runs smoothly and is a professional role model. Ensures the Infusion Solutions nurses develop and implement a plan of care that meets each client's specific needs and is in compliance with accreditation standards, federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines as well as Agency policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Performs oversight of Nursing Services to ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, local state and federal regulations. Evaluate and optimize inventories of supplies and equipment used in infusion nursing services. Ensure a healthy working environment. Use evidence-based health care practices to improve patient care and nursing strategies. Establish rapport, ensure communication is clear and listen carefully to potential problems or miscommunications. Demonstrates flexibility in adjusting staffing and patient care decisions in response to changing needs and being decisive when necessary. Effective decision making. Focus on quality and patient safety with attention to patient satisfaction. Manage nurses by providing feedback on nurse performance, motivate and empower staff, and develop new employee orientation. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and safety. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders drive business growth. Understand and assist in managing the nursing team budget, including labor, supply costs, and capital expenses and ensure the organization is operating within financial targets. Utilize data analytics to measure and improve performance across key areas, including patient satisfaction, adherence to treatment plans, inventory management, staff productivity, revenue, and profitability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and effective service. Stay current with the latest developments in home infusion pharmacy services and nursing practices and continuously improve services to meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare industry. Manage productivity of the nursing team. Manage recruitment and retention of nursing team. Establishes and maintains clinical competencies of infusion nurse. Understands and supports job description of infusion nurse. Knowledge of home infusion pharmacy regulations and accreditation requirements. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and develop a high performing team of nurses and healthcare professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and performance improvement. Ability to manage a budget, including labor, supply costs, and capital expenses. Knowledge of electronic medical record (

•EMR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient and business needs. Participates in agency's other mandated activities, including inservices, UR/PI committee meetings and staff meetings. Adheres to all agency, payroll, billing and documentation policies and procedures. Meets established guidelines for documentation. Other duties as assigned. WAC Compliance Responsibilities In accordance with WAC 246-335-545, the Director of Nursing will serve as the designated Director of Clinical Services for our licensed home health services.

Responsibilities include:

The Director or designee must be available during all hours in which patient care is provided Completing at least 10 hours of annual continuing education related to clinical supervision Overseeing and updating patient care policies and procedures. Supervising care provided by clinical personnel or delegating supervision to qualified professionals. Ensuring patient safety protocols and individualized care plans are followed. Supporting coordination of services between agencies when applicable. Ensuring appropriate emergency procedures are initiated in response to changes in patient condition.

Professional Requirements:

Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time. Wears identification while on duty. Attends annual review and in-services, as appropriate. Attends at least 8 staff meetings, reads and returns all monthly staff meeting minutes. Represents the agency in a positive and professional manner. Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides direct oversight of clinical leadership and staff, including Nurse Managers, Clinical Liaisons, and nursing personnel. Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development. Ensures appropriate staffing levels, fosters a culture of accountability, and promotes ongoing professional growth across clinical teams. Reports to the CEO. Required Education, Licensure & Experience All requirements below are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in a home infusion or home health setting. At least 3 years of experience in a nursing leadership role. Current BCLS certification Current TB testing. Valid state driver's license and reliable automobile. Proof of current automobile insurance. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability relate well to staff and other professionals. Must have effective communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice. Basic computer knowledge. Preferred Education & Experience Preferred qualifications are not required but are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), if not already required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) credential. Experience in multi-site clinical operations or home infusion pharmacy leadership. Prior experience with accreditation processes (e.g., ACHC, Joint Commission) and regulatory surveys. Experience managing clinical budgets, productivity metrics, and financial performance. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and healthcare data analytics tools. Demonstrated experience in program development, process improvement, and quality initiatives.
