$22-$24 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join a busy primary care clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, provides excellent customer service, and can effectively manage front desk operations while supporting care coordination. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and visitors Check in high patient volume (200-250 patients daily) Verify insurance, update patient demographics, and schedule appointments Coordinate patient care activities, including referrals and pre-appointment requirements Maintain accurate and complete medical records Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and external partners Assist with insurance authorizations and financial clearance processes Support scheduling of procedures, tests, and follow-up care Ensure timely processing and flow of medical documentation Contribute to a professional, organized, and patient-centered clinic environment Qualifications EPIC experience required Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical/healthcare setting (non-dental) or 2+ years in a high-volume customer service role Strong understanding of medical terminology preferred Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is a plus Knowledge of insurance authorization processes Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

1 year (Required) Medical/Healthcare setting (non-dental): 1 year (Required) Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10: 1 year (Required)
