- PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- + Coordination and monitoring of staff, scheduling systems, payroll and timekeeping systems, educational tracking systems and other systems that support the Nurse Manager + Customer service to patients, staff and medical team members + Interviewing and recommending the selection of candidates + Ordering of unit supplies, equipment and facilities management + Take a proactive role in efficient operations of the unit + Responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Health Unit Coordinator and other assigned staff + Managing, collecting and reporting of unit data + Other assigned duties + •
REQUIREMENTS
- + Bachelor's Degree in a medically related or public relations field + AND Four years of experience as a Health Unit Coordinator + OR High School graduation or equivalent and four years experience as a Health Unit Coordinator and a UW Supervisory Skill Certificate.
+ Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
