Job Description

Patient Experience & Operations Coordinator Atlas Spinal Care - 5.0 Vancouver, WA Job Details Full-time From $19.50 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications In-person patient registration Customer communication Practice management software Client services experience within healthcare industry Medical scheduling Full Job Description This Is Not a Typical Receptionist Role This position starts at the front desk, but we're not hiring someone to answer phones and wait for the next task.
We want an owner:
someone who notices, follows through, and looks at a busy clinic and thinks, "I know what needs to happen next." What You'll Own Patient experience: Scheduling, check-in and checkout, payments, follow-up, and making sure every patient knows exactly what happens next Schedule management: Spotting holes, bottlenecks, and missed appointments, and fixing them before the day turns into chaos
Follow-through:
Callbacks, doctor requests, loose ends. If something needs to happen, you close it. If something slipped, you find out why.
Team communication:
Getting the right information to the right person at the right time, and speaking up respectfully when something isn't working Systems and organization: Improving checklists, workflows, scheduling processes, and front desk procedures so we stop solving the same problem twice You'll Probably Love This Role If You… Naturally organize things and notice details others miss Love closing loops and checking things off Can juggle multiple priorities without losing the big picture Are warm with people and comfortable holding boundaries Would rather prevent a problem than keep fixing it Want more responsibility as you prove you can handle it This Probably Isn't a Fit If You… Need every task assigned to you See a problem and assume someone else will handle it Avoid uncomfortable conversations Want a predictable receptionist job with limited responsibility What Success Looks Like Patients feel cared for. The clinic feels calm, even when we're busy. Schedules stay full, communication gets closed, and no patient disappears because nobody followed up. Doctors aren't fielding operational questions, problems surface early, and things get done even when the owner isn't in the middle of everything. Growth The right person may grow into larger pieces of clinic operations: team coordination, systems, projects, and accountability. You don't need to know how to do all of that on day one. You do need to want ownership. Schedule & Pay Monday-Thursday, 8:30AM to 6:15PM (patient hours 9am-6pm with a midday break) $19-$26/hour, depending on experience
Benefits:
paid time off, complimentary care, health insurance coverage, 401(k) with matching, employee discounts. Preferred Qualifications Front desk, medical office, or customer service experience Comfort with scheduling and practice management software Healthcare or insurance billing experience is a plus, not required If you've always thought, "Just give it to me. I'll make sure it gets done," we want to meet you.
