Job Description

About the Position Children's Dental Health Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for children and families while helping maintain efficient daily office operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Maintain patient flow from check-in through check-out Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer phones and assist patients and parents with questions Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Review treatment estimates and payment options with families Collect payments and assist with accounts receivable follow-up Submit and track insurance claims Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate with clinical team to support daily schedule efficiency Help create a welcoming and positive environment for children and families Assist with additional administrative and office duties as needed Qualifications Dental or medical office experience preferred Pediatric dental experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office Knowledge of dental insurance and billing preferred Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Comfortable learning dental software systems Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth and continuing education Experience Dental office: 1 year preferred Customer service: 1 year preferred Work Location In person
