Job Description We are hiring a talented, experienced, and entrepreneurial minded Tap Room Lead at Sprecher Brewing Co. This individual will play a key role in handling the day-to-day operations of the tap room and staff. The Tap Room Lead will supervise, train, and schedule employees and ensure all health and safety procedures are met. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily bar and taproom operations, ensuring compliance with all licensing requirements, as well as health, safety, and food handling regulations. Supervise, coach, and support bar and taproom staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment. Work flexible shifts—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—to meet the operational needs of the taproom. Provide prompt, professional resolution to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure a positive guest experience. Develop and maintain efficient staff schedules to align labor resources with customer demand and business goals. Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training hospitality staff and tour guides, ensuring brand standards are upheld. Manage administrative tasks such as completing required paperwork, maintaining records, and preparing reports as assigned. Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure product availability meets forecasted demand. Maintain accurate financial and statistical records and oversee daily cash handling to ensure all transactions and banking reconcile with zero variance. Resolve staff conflicts quickly and effectively, ensuring a respectful and professional workplace. Implement and reinforce company policies, service standards, and operational procedures. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security. ServSafe certification preferred. Bartender License preferred. Exceptional customer service skills Self-directed, well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure; customer-service oriented attitude. Team player who works well with others and contributes to a positive work environment. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Heightened awareness of safety precautions and hazards for self and others while in the brewery. Ability to perform all essential functions and physical demands of the job.
