CLINIC UNIT COORDINATOR
Grantsburg, WI • Clinic Job Type Full-time Description Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a full-time Clinic Unit Coordinator.SHIFT & HOURS
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, may vary for vacation coverageDUTIES:
Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously. Verify patient demographics and insurance information as needed. Provide patients with information regarding clinic services, office hours, and appointment availability. Co-manages the completion of prior authorizations for High-Tech Imaging, Cardiac Services, Sleep Studies, and other services. Co-manages the completion of internal and external referrals for patients to see specialists. Provides administrative and operational support to the clinic team, coordinating daily clinic activities, patient flow, scheduling, communication, and workflow to ensure efficient and effective patient care. The position serves as a key resource for providers, clinical staff, patients, and other departments to facilitate timely and effective clinic operations. This position is benefit-eligible including PTO, health, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, employer-paid short-term disability along with up to a 3% match in our 401K retirement plan. Requirements High school graduate or equivalency. Exceptional communication skills, including outstanding telephone etiquette. Background and previous experience in healthcare are strongly preferred. Experience withCPT/ICD-10
coding preferred. Computer literacy, including the use of EPIC and Microsoft products. Knowledge of fax machine and multi-line phone functionality/use. Job requires sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to read and hear. View All JobsBenefits
