BayCare Clinic Cardiology is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. This role full time, with typical office hours of Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No Holidays! No Weekends!The Clinic:

Ensures the front desk area runs smoothly. Greets and checks patients in & out. Schedules patient appointments. Coordinates scheduling of incoming patient referrals. Serves as resource to staff regarding patient scheduling issues. Performs general office duties. Monitors inventory of various supplies. Assists patients in filling out patient forms. Performs pre-verification duties. Answers phones, takes messages, and routes phone calls when necessary. Collects co-payments from patients. Assists in coordinating physician schedules. Is a subject matter expert (and "go-to" person) for all processes, work rules, and duties within the reception area. Trains newly hired team members on department specific processes, work rules, and duties once the team member has undergone initial "new hire" training. Functions as liaison with BayCare Clinic and ABMC billing departments. Respects and maintains confidentiality. Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.The Requirements:
A minimum of a high school education or equivalent. Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate. Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance. Must possess strong desktop computer skills. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
