PAY AND ADVANCEMENT
New Patient Coordinator:
$17
•18 per hour
Fully Trained Patient Coordinator:
$18
•19 per hour following a successful 90-day review
Experienced Lead Candidate:
Starting rate may be higher based on directly relevant experience
Patient Coordinator Lead:
$22
•23 per hour after meeting the Lead performance requirements This position offers a written, measurable pathway to advancement. Candidates with previous chiropractic, medical, dental, physical therapy, or other healthcare-office experience may qualify for an accelerated Lead evaluation.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Fox Crossing Chiropractic is looking for a positive, dependable, and organized Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. Our Patient Coordinators are cross-trained to assist throughout the front office rather than being limited to only check-in or checkout. Team members work together to create an excellent patient experience, maintain an efficient schedule, support the doctors, and keep the clinic operating smoothly. We are hiring for one position with two potential paths: Patient Coordinator Patient Coordinator with an opportunity to advance into the Lead role You do not need previous leadership experience to apply. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates strong character, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well with others. We also welcome applications from experienced chiropractic or healthcare-office employees who are looking for greater responsibility, clearer expectations, and a genuine opportunity for professional and financial growth.

Our regular patient hours are:
Monday-Thursday:
7:00 a.m
•6:00 p.m.
Friday:
7:00 a.m
•12:30 p.m. No regularly scheduled weekends The front-desk schedule is generally divided into consistent morning and afternoon shifts. Coordinator hours may begin shortly before the first patient or extend slightly beyond patient hours for opening, closing, and preparation. Applicants should be available for a combination of morning and afternoon shifts. Additional hours may be available to employees who can provide flexible coverage.
PATIENT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional first impression Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Answer phones, respond to messages, and schedule appointments Collect copays, patient payments, and outstanding balances according to office procedures Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information Confirm appointments and help maintain an efficient provider schedule Communicate clearly with patients, doctors, and coworkers Complete opening, closing, and daily task checklists Help keep the front desk, reception area, and patient areas organized Assist with basic therapy-room flow and patient needs when necessary Learn patient-account and billing-support procedures Complete assigned follow-up calls and administrative tasks Protect patient privacy and follow clinic policies Identify problems and bring possible solutions to clinic leadership Assist coworkers when patient volume or workflow requires additional support
AM/PM SHIFT HANDOFF RESPONSIBILITIES
Morning and afternoon coordinators have scheduled overlap time to maintain continuity and prevent unfinished work from being passed along without explanation. During the handoff period, coordinators may: Review schedule changes, patient messages, and special circumstances Communicate any unresolved patient or account concerns Complete follow-up calls and outstanding administrative tasks Verify that payments and documentation have been entered correctly Prepare the front desk and patient areas for the next shift Restock supplies and organize work areas Confirm that urgent items have an assigned person and deadline Help the incoming shift transition smoothly into the next patient session The overlap period is active working time and is intended to improve accuracy, teamwork, and the patient experience.
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The Patient Coordinator Lead is a working leader who performs regular front-desk duties while helping the entire team remain organized, consistent, and accountable.
Lead responsibilities may include:
Help train and onboard new Patient Coordinators Reinforce front-desk procedures and patient-service standards Monitor completion of opening, closing, and daily checklists Help coordinate shift coverage and schedule changes Review scheduling, payment, and patient-account procedures for accuracy Lead brief front-desk huddles when needed Identify workflow problems and recommend practical solutions Provide respectful and constructive feedback Help resolve routine patient or workflow concerns Communicate recurring problems to clinic ownership Model professionalism, honesty, teamwork, and personal accountability Help maintain a supportive workplace without gossip, favoritism, or unnecessary conflict
MEASURABLE PATH TO THE LEAD ROLE
Advancement is based on demonstrated performance rather than time in the position alone. Employees interested in the Lead role will receive a written scorecard explaining the requirements. Lead candidates will generally be evaluated on: Successful completion of front-desk training Competency at check-in, checkout, scheduling, phones, payments, and patient communication Attendance, punctuality, and dependable shift coverage Accurate completion of assigned duties and checklists Scheduling, payment, and patient-information accuracy Timely completion of follow-up work Ability to train and support other employees Positive and professional patient interactions Respectful communication with coworkers Ability to accept feedback and take responsibility for mistakes Initiative in identifying and solving problems Consistent support of the clinic's standards and culture Ability to remain composed and helpful during busy periods A standard Patient Coordinator may be considered for Lead advancement after approximately six months. An applicant with directly relevant experience may qualify for an accelerated 90-day Lead evaluation. Meeting the measurable standards makes an employee eligible for Lead placement and Lead compensation. Final placement also depends on consistently demonstrating the judgment, dependability, and leadership ability required by the position.
