Job Description

Our established dental practice has proudly served the Pewaukee community since 1998. We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated team member to help lead our front office operations while playing an important role in reconnecting with patients and growing our practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with patients, improving systems, and being part of a close-knit dental team. We are looking for a person who takes initiative, follows through, and understands that excellent patient care begins before the patient ever sits in the dental chair.
Responsibilities Include:
Practice Administration & Patient Care Manage daily front office operations and patient flow Welcome patients with a friendly, professional, and caring approach Coordinate scheduling to maximize provider and hygiene productivity Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients Manage patient accounts, collections, and payment arrangements Maintain accurate patient records Coordinate patient recalls and continuing care Follow up with patients who have incomplete treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients by phone, text, and email Patient Retention & Practice Growth Develop and maintain systems to reactivate overdue and inactive patients Help increase patient retention through consistent follow-up and communication Encourage and coordinate patient reviews and online reputation efforts Assist with community outreach and referral-building efforts Help maintain and improve our online presence and marketing initiatives Track results of growth efforts and identify opportunities to improve patient flow
Qualifications:
Prior dental front office experience strongly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and CDT codes Experience with dental insurance, treatment coordination, and collections Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable learning and using computers and dental practice software Dentrix experience is a plus Marketing, social media, or patient communication experience is a plus

7:30 AM•6:00
PM Tuesday:
9:00 AM•2:00 PM (flexible based on applicant availability)
Wednesday:
8:30 AM•7:00
PM Thursday:
7:30 AM•5:00
PM Friday:
9:00 AM•2:00 PM (flexible based on applicant availability) No weekends
Compensation:
$28•32/hour depending on experience and qualifications Additional performance incentives may be available based on practice growth goals.
Pay:
$28.00•$32.00 per hour
