Job Description
The Health Center Supervisor oversees daily health center operations, ensuring efficient workflows, excellent patient service, and effective staff utilization. This role provides direct supervision to front-office and clinical support staff, addresses day-to-day operational concerns, supports employee development, and works closely with providers and leadership to maintain high-quality patient care and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily health center operations and patient flow.
Supervise and support front-office and clinical support staff.
Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and address workflow issues.
Approve timecards, monitor attendance, and reinforce policies and procedures.
Train and coach staff to promote performance and professional development.
Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and assist during staffing shortages.
Promote exceptional patient service and a positive team environment.
Support quality, compliance, and organizational initiatives.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to company policies.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.13 years of healthcare experience required.
Previous supervisory, team lead, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
Knowledge of patient scheduling, workflow coordination, and staff management.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with EHR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Monday 7:30am-5:00pmTuesday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pmFriday 8:00am-4:00pm
