Job Description

Job Summary The Associate Administrator is a member of the administrative team and has the responsibility of oversight for ancillary hospital services and assists in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the hospital policies and procedures are followed. The Associate Administrator provides direct reporting responsibilities for maintaining a cohesive motivated team, growth and development of ancillary hospital leaders, providing guidance for financial and daily oversight. The Associate Administrator will work in conjunction with the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer to produce a budget for each department as well as recommendations for capital budget planning. Participation in strategic planning with education for direct reports in implementation of strategies. Adherence to facility and system mission, vision, and values. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Responsibilities Additional Key Responsibilities Include:
Financial Oversight:
Assist in budgeting and financial planning to ensure the hospital remains financially viable while delivering high-quality patient care.
Compliance:
Ensure the hospital complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
Patient Care:
Work to improve patient care services, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to long-term planning and development to enhance hospital services and facilities.
Community Relations:
Maintain positive relationships with the community, including patients, families, and local organizations.
Quality Improvement:
Work in conjunction with Quality and Performance Improvement directors to implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Performs management responsibilities including but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Light Work:
Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs. o Several years of experience in healthcare management, with a proven track record of leadership and operational success. o Minimum of 5 years work experience in a clinical or healthcare leadership setting with budget, fiscal and oversight accountabilities, or equivalent combination of experience and education. o Must have prior management experience in healthcare, clinical or administrative setting, strong analytical and project management skills, and ability to drive and implement change, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in healthcare software and technology is also required. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required)
