Altura Medical Group Danbury, CT Summer paid Internship (Full-Time) $18 to $23/hr Build Your Career in Healthcare Leadership Are you interested in healthcare, business, marketing, communications, or community engagement? Do you want an internship where you'll actually build something meaningful instead of making copies or sitting on the sidelines? Altura Medical Group is offering a unique Healthcare Community Outreach Internship that provides students with hands-on experience helping build the business development department of a growing multi-specialty medical group. Working directly with executive leadership, you'll help strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, schools, employers, and referral partners while gaining real experience in healthcare business strategy. This is a paid internship designed for students who want responsibility, mentorship, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. pay is $18 to 23 /hr What You'll Do Throughout the internship, you will: Research healthcare providers and community organizations throughout Greater Danbury Build and maintain our Business Development CRM Assist with physician and community outreach initiatives Participate in healthcare provider office visits Develop marketing and outreach materials Help organize community education events Support planning for Altura Medical Group's Grand Opening Conduct market research and competitive analysis Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership Work on projects that become permanent organizational resources What Makes This Internship Different? Internship Timeline This internship is designed to develop future healthcare leaders through a multi-phase experience: Summer (Approximately 30 hours/week): Full-time internship focused on immersive learning, executive mentorship, community outreach, and strategic project ownership. Academic Year (Approximately 10 hours/week): Continued part-time internship allowing students to build upon relationships, initiatives, and leadership experience developed during the summer.
