Schedule:
Five days per week including Saturdays. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Schedule to be arranged with the

Executive Director Our Mission St. Vincent de Paul Place exists to offer a safe, welcoming space for anyone in need. Rooted in compassion and dignity, we meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they navigate barriers related to food insecurity, health care, housing, and stability. Our work is grounded in advocacy, respectful care, and community partnership. Position Overview The Operations Manager is a mission centered leader who helps ensure that the daily life of St. Vincent de Paul Place reflects our values of hospitality, equity, and hope. This role supports staff, volunteers, and community partners while maintaining a safe, well-coordinated, and welcoming environment for all who enter our doors. The Operations Manager serves as a steady presence, supporting both people and operations, and acts on behalf of the Executive Director when needed. What You Will Do Help steward the daily operations of a busy, community focused nonprofit serving individuals and families in need Provide leadership and oversight of the facility in the absence of the Executive Director Collaborate closely with the Outreach Manager, Food Pantry Manager, and Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless, respectful service delivery Support and strengthen the volunteer program by assisting with training, scheduling, and oversight of front desk volunteers Help organize and support on site health clinics in partnership with local health care providers Promote safe and responsible use of technology by supporting cybersecurity compliance among staff and volunteers Carry forward the vision of the Media Committee by sharing stories, photos, and information that reflect the heart of our work Serve as an ambassador for St. Vincent de Paul Place at community events and gatherings Contribute flexibly to the needs of the organization by taking on additional responsibilities as directed Who You Are You believe people in crisis deserve respect, patience, and compassionate care You are comfortable supporting individuals facing complex challenges, including homelessness, substance use, and mental health concerns You bring experience or strong interest in community health, mental health, or human services You are skilled in crisis response and de-escalation, and approach difficult moments with calm and empathy You communicate clearly and kindly, both verbally and in writing You are organized, dependable, and able to maintain accurate records You enjoy working with diverse communities and supporting volunteers You are comfortable speaking in public and representing an organization's mission Bilingual abilities are welcomed and valued Additional Information This position includes a six-month probationary period. Details will be shared during the hiring process.
