This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional person-centered care while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations. The Director will oversee program operations, staff development, financial management, community partnerships, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of the Adult Day Care Program, ensuring high-quality services and participant satisfaction. Develop and implement program goals, policies, and procedures that support the organization's mission and long-term objectives. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate program staff while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and licensing regulations governing adult day care services. Oversee daily program operations, including participant services, activities, transportation coordination, nutrition, safety, and facility management. Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure responsible resource allocation. Collaborate with healthcare providers, referral sources, families, caregivers, community organizations, and government agencies to strengthen partnerships and expand services. Lead marketing, outreach, and business development initiatives to increase program enrollment and community awareness. Pursue grant opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships to support organizational sustainability and program growth. Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement efforts, implementing best practices to continuously enhance participant outcomes. Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance. Promote a participant-centered environment that emphasizes dignity, independence, inclusion, and overall well-being. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership or management experience in an Adult Day Care Program, senior services, healthcare, assisted living, home health, or a related field. Strong knowledge of adult day care regulations, licensing standards, and quality assurance practices. Proven experience in program management, budgeting, operations, strategic planning, and staff supervision. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with participants, families, healthcare professionals, community partners, and referral sources. Experience with business development, community outreach, grant writing, or fundraising is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
