Job Description

Reporting to the Interim Studies Team, the Coordinator of Interim Studies is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and administration of the experiential learning opportunities.
Specific duties include:
Serve as a lead designer and coordinator of the Interim Studies experiences Collaborate with members of the academic leadership team in the development and implementation of the program Oversee the implementation of the program by providing necessary operational and academic support to faculty Disseminate information about the programs to all constituencies, including students, parents, faculty, and staff/administrators Ensure student placement Prepare and manage the program budget Responsible for the daily operational needs of the program Serve as a primary risk manager for off-campus trips and ensure all necessary risk management training for trip leaders Stays informed of current pedagogical approaches in experiential learning. This is a stipend position.
