Strong computer skills including proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is essential. Knowledge of health insurance procedures, health information management, and medical billing practices including CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and Medicare guidelines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding patient service; bilingual abilities are a plus.
