Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PHC Community Liaison to serve as a vital link between our healthcare organization and the community. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, healthcare administrative experience, and a passion for fostering positive relationships. In this role, you will coordinate community outreach efforts, facilitate communication with clients and healthcare providers, and support the overall revenue cycle management process. Duties Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote healthcare services and build relationships with local organizations. Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, providing clear information about services offered. Manage scheduling of appointments and community events to ensure efficient use of resources. Maintain accurate records within electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring data entry is precise and up-to-date. Facilitate internal communication between healthcare teams to support coordinated patient care. Assist with insurance third-party billing processes, verifying coverage details and supporting revenue cycle activities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally through phone communication and written correspondence. Skills Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings with familiarity in managed care processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes. Strong understanding of health insurance policies, medical terminology, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems. Excellent schedule management skills to coordinate appointments, outreach events, and internal meetings effectively. Effective internal communication skills to liaise between healthcare providers, clients, and community partners. Competence in data entry with high accuracy to support billing, reporting, and recordkeeping functions. Exceptional customer service abilities combined with professional writing skills for client communication. Knowledge of revenue cycle management practices including billing procedures and insurance claims processing.
