Full Job Description About Us:
The Center for Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases is a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to high-quality care in a professional, team-oriented environment. We are a private practice with five doctors and two locations-Greenbrier and Harbour View.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, organized Medical Administrative Assistant to support the Practice Manager and assist with front desk coverage as needed, ensuring smooth office operations and a professional patient experience. The home office for this position will be at the Greenbrier location but requires travel to both locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Practice Manager with administrative tasks and patient correspondence Assist with lab issues, office maintenance, and EMR documentation Provide front desk coverage: patient check-in, phone management, appointment scheduling/confirmation, insurance verification, and payment collection Support office workflows and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
1-2 years of medical administrative or healthcare office experience preferred Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred; basic IT skills a plus Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Professional, reliable, and discreet with attention to detail Schedule Full-time How to
