Duties Assist audiologists with conducting vestibular assessments and patient evaluations using advanced clinical audiology equipment Support the fitting, programming, and troubleshooting of hearing aids utilizing hearing aid fitting software and hearing aid programming tools Manage patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation within EMR/EHR systems Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to occupational health standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff Provide exceptional patient service by communicating clearly about procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout assessments and fittings Support patient management through appointment scheduling, follow-up coordination, and maintaining detailed records in patient management software such as NOAH Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and hearing aid components to ensure readiness for clinical procedures Experience Prior experience or training in clinical audiology or related healthcare fields is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy (especially auditory physiology), and physiology knowledge enhances effectiveness in this role Experience operating medical equipment used in hearing assessments and hearing aid fitting software is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is essential Knowledge of ICD coding for billing purposes and understanding of medical software systems such as NOAH or similar platforms is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and patient care activities This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the field of audiology while making a positive impact on patients' lives.
