Compensation and Schedule for the Audiology Tech Audiology Tech - Full-time, onsite, $19-$21 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Great opportunities for growth! Required Qualifications of the Audiology Tech 2+ years of recent audiology tech experience required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred High school diploma or GED required Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen Responsibilities of the Audiology Tech Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and patient evaluations using specialized equipment and hearing aid fitting software Assist with hearing aid programming, troubleshooting, and fitting to optimize patient outcomes Support patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and explaining procedures clearly Operate and maintain medical equipment related to audiology testing and hearing aid fitting Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to confidentiality standards Perform hearing assessments such as hearing tests, speech recognition testing, and pediatric evaluations as needed Support clinical audiology procedures by applying physiology knowledge and understanding of anatomy relevant to hearing health Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans, treatment options, and device management Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient management using medical software such as NOAH and ICD coding systems Assist in sales activities related to hearing aids and other audiological products while maintaining excellent customer service standards Ensure compliance with occupational health protocols and safety regulations during all clinical procedures About the Company Since 1987, this preeminent community practice has provided state-of-the-art healthcare mixed with old-fashioned hospitality in the southern Arizona region.
