Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audiology Technician to join our team. The Audiology Technician will support our audiologists and physicians in clinic. This role involves conducting hearing tests, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct hearing tests and assessments using audiometric equipment under the supervision of an audiologist.
Prepare patients for audiometric evaluations, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
Perform tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAEs), and other diagnostic tests as required..Maintain and calibrate audiometric equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Record and document patient information accurately and maintain patient files..Assist audiologists with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone inquiries.
Provide coverage in both office locations: Gainesville and BraseltonEnsure a clean and organized work environment, following all safety and infection control protocols.
Stay current with advancements in audiology.
