Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations using advanced hearing assessment tools and clinical audiology techniques Perform hearing aid fittings, programming, and adjustments utilizing state-of-the-art hearing aid fitting software and hearing aid programming tools Educate patients on device operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal usage and satisfaction Manage patient intake, documentation, and management through patient management software and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret audiological data, understand medical terminology, and coordinate patient care plans Maintain accurate records of hearing assessments, ICD coding, and treatment plans while adhering to occupational health standards and confidentiality protocols Qualifications State Licensed Hearing Insturment Fitter/Dispenser or current eligibility for licensure. (Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist- BC-HIS) Proven experience in clinical audiology or a related field with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to hearing health Proficiency in medical software such as NOAH, hearing aid fitting software, patient management systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and ICD coding procedures Knowledge of medical equipment operation related to audiology testing and hearing aid programming tools Familiarity with pediatric audiology assessments and patient care strategies for diverse populations Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and patient education Ability to interpret medical terminology accurately while working within a healthcare environment Strong organizational skills for managing patient intake processes, assessments, fittings, and follow-up appointments Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise makes a meaningful difference! $32.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
