Key Qualifications:

Current Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) licensure valid for Tennessee Demonstrated experience supporting students with hearing loss, ideally at the high school level Skilled in delivering remote instruction using digital tools Strong ability to build rapport, adapt strategies, and monitor progress virtually Excellent communication and documentation skills Tech-savvy approach for seamless, engaging online sessions

Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one with a high school student in Tennessee, providing DHH services Conduct scheduled virtual sessions (20 minutes, 8 times per academic year, totaling 160 minutes annually) Adapt instructional materials and communication techniques to fit student needs Guide the student on self-advocacy, communication strategies, and curriculum access Monitor goals and maintain concise records in compliance with educational standards Collaborate with school staff and family to help maximize student success This position offers professional fulfillment, schedule flexibility, and the chance to make a measurable difference in a students life with minimal time investment.
